Vincent Massey Public School believes in a happy learning place, where each child will have the opportunity to acquire the skills, knowledge and values to become a responsible, lifelong learner.
Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board’s strategic beliefs include: Achievement Matters! Engagement Matters! & Equity Matter! These are beliefs that Vincent Massey Public School is striving to hold for supporting student achievement, wellbeing and safety during their time at school.
Our school is also striving to become more aware of and learn more about the “Essential Practices for Today’s Learners” which include: Learning with Digital, Learning by Design, Learning Partnerships and the Learning Environment. These Essential Practices assist our teachers in developing classroom programing that supports all students in becoming global citizens, collaborators, communicators, self-aware & self-directed learners, innovators, creators, and entrepreneurs, & critical thinkers and problem solvers. We are striving and believe that all of these skills are essential to success in an ever evolving world.
Vincent Massey is the hub of our school community and is here to support all walks of life. Please feel free to come and visit so that we can learn who you are, what you need and how we can continue to support you. The partnership between students, parents, and staff is essential in ensuring the continued success of the entire community at Vincent Massey.
Sincerely,
Nicholas Shea
Principal
